Diwali Nite was celebrated on 30th October, 2021 from 7 p.m. onwards at Khandesh Maratha Mitra Mandal, Nigdi Pradhikaran, Pune. It was a cultural fest in which 46 rotarians, 20 anns and 6 annets gave their colourful participation. Rtn Sunil Garud, Anna Dr. Ratnaparakhi, Ann Dhanashree Lele, Rtn Shreeprasad Sohoni presented melodious songs from Hindi and Marathi cinemas. Rtn Dr. Deepali Patekar, Rtn Rajan Lakhe, Rtn Sanjay Khanolkar, Ann Kiran Lakhe recited self-composed poems. Rtn Dr. Sanjeev Datye narrated a story for which he got the First Prize by Rotary District 3131. Anns and lady rotarians participated in a Cat Walk. Rotarians, Anns and Annets were given prizes for Best Costume, Best Performance, Best Couple, Best Annet etc. There was a feast of delicious Diwali sweets and a variety of tasty dishes for dinner. All the rotarians were gifted with diyas. It was indeed a memorable cultural fest for all the members.
