Blood Donation Camp on Independence Day Date: August 15, 2024 Location: Rotary Club of PCMC Synergy Partners: RC Chinchwad-Pune, RC Pimpri, RC Pimpri Elite, RC Pimpri Town, RC Nigdi, RC Akurdi, RC Cosmopolitan, RC Pradhikaran On August 15, 2024, the Rotary Club of PCMC organized a significant blood donation camp in celebration of the 77th Independence Day. The event aimed to contribute to the community by collecting blood units while commemorating the National Day of Freedom and unity. The event began promptly at 9:00 AM with an inauguration ceremony. The ceremony featured the participation of several Rotary Club Presidents, who shared their views on the importance of blood donation and reflected on the significance of Independence Day. Their speeches highlighted the spirit of giving and the impact of community service. Despite the long weekend, the camp was a success, with a total of 25 units of blood collected. This achievement underscores the commitment and enthusiasm of both the donors and the organizing team. Rtn Rajesh Agarwal from our club was a notable participant, donating 1 unit of blood. His contribution was recognized and appreciated by the attendees and organizers. Post-donation, Rtn Rajesh Agarwal was honoured for his contribution by AG Ravindra Bhave, President Harsha Joshi – Chinchwad, President Santosh Giranje – Pimpri Their acknowledgment underscored the value of individual contributions and the collective effort required for such successful events.
