EAA tri challenge is a triathlon event. It’s the 3rd season for it. 3 distances were in the competitive segment for the same. Sprint, super sprint and Olympic distance. Covering 750, 1 km and 1.5 kms of swim. 10km, 20km and 40km cycling. 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km run. Total of 100 participants took part in it. From 3 countries and 12 different cities from India. From age 12 to 65 years took part in the competition. All participants received goodie bags, hoodies, medals, swimming caps as participation package. All winners won prices such as hard case bags, gym bags and speedo goggles. One special winner from National Triathlon federation was given cash price of 30,000. Swimming was done in open source of water as its traditionally done in triathlon sports. There were different running and cycling routs. Rotary club of Chinchwad was hydration and nutrition sponsor for the event. RC Chinchwad is the only consistent sponsor for the event. Total budget of the event was 4,00,000 rupees. Prices were given of the value of 1,20,000 rupees.
