Date: August 15, 2024 Location: DIC English Medium School, Akurdi, Pune On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, the Rotary Club of Chinchwad, the Interact Club of DIC English Medium School, and the RCC Club of DIC English Medium School collaborated in a flag hoisting ceremony at DIC English Medium School, Akurdi, Pune. This event aimed to celebrate national pride, foster community development, and showcase the talents of students. The flag hoisting ceremony commenced at exactly 7:45 AM with the presence of Mr. Shatrughan Mail, Sr. Police Inspector, Akurdi, Pune, as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was conducted with great enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of Independence Day. Following the flag hoisting, students presented a variety of cultural programs. Various performances showcasing traditional and contemporary art forms. Students demonstrated their skills in martial arts and self-defence techniques. The MOC was conducted in Marathi, Hindi, Sanskrit, English, and German, reflecting the diverse linguistic capabilities of the students. The preparations for these activities were carried out entirely by the students, emphasizing their leadership and organizational skills. Their enthusiasm and dedication were evident throughout the program. Mr. Shatrughan Mail delivered an insightful address to the students.
