Rotary Club Chinchwad spiritual journey with Wari to help community development Rotary Club Chinchwad Report on WARI Dindi No. 56 Date: 03.07.2024 Introduction: The Rotary Club Chinchwad continues its longstanding commitment to the WARI project, marking 18 years of dedicated involvement. On this auspicious day, our members embarked on a journey to Theur Phata to participate in Wari Dindi No. 56, a profound spiritual experience that deepened our understanding of the Warkari tradition. Activities: Upon arrival, we commenced the day by paying homage to the Jagda Guru Tukaram Maharaj Paduka, a revered ritual that set the tone for the day's spiritual journey. We then joined Wari Dindi No. 56, walking approximately 10 kilometers alongside devout Warkaris. Throughout the journey, we immersed ourselves in singing various Abhangas, enhancing the spiritual ambiance and fostering a sense of unity among participants. Observations: During the Wari walk, we had the privilege of closely observing the daily lives and routines of the Warkaris over the span of their 15-day pilgrimage. Insights into their daily rituals, organizational skills, and communal living were particularly enlightening. Notably, a young leader aged 20 to 21 demonstrated exceptional leadership by leading the chanting of Abhangas, inspiring fellow participants. Additionally, a talented 12 to 13-year-old boy showcased his musical prowess on the Pakhawaz, captivating all with his skillful performance. Schedule and Conclusion: The walk commenced at 9:00 AM, guiding us through a transformative spiritual journey until we reached Loni Kalbhor by 1:30 PM. Following tradition, the Rotary Club Chinchwad hosted a communal lunch for all Warkaris, underscoring our commitment to supporting their journey. Furthermore, we proudly donated Rs. 15,000 towards fulfilling their needs, ensuring their pilgrimage continues smoothly. We also Donate 50 Dhotis to Warkaris. Conclusion: Participating in Wari Dindi No. 56 was a deeply enriching experience for all members of the Rotary Club Chinchwad. It provided us with invaluable insights into the Warkari tradition, fostering cultural understanding and spiritual growth among participants. We look forward to continuing our support for this meaningful project in the years to come. Acknowledgments: Special thanks to all participants, volunteers, and supporters whose dedication made this day a success. We also express gratitude to the Warkaris for welcoming us into their community and sharing their profound spiritual journey with us.
