The event was hosted at the picturesque Andar Maval near Andra Dam, with the Rotary Club of Chinchwad-Pune co-hosting alongside the Endurance Athletic Association. The two-day competition featured swimming, cycling, and running across two categories: a children’s competition on January 4th and an adult competition on January 5th. The event attracted participants from across India and Maharashtra. Promote Endurance Sports: The event aimed to raise awareness and encourage participation in multi-sport endurance disciplines, promoting the values of fitness, perseverance, and healthy competition. Foster Community and Talent Development: By bringing together athletes from across India, the event provided a platform for participants to showcase their talent while fostering a sense of community among endurance sports enthusiasts. Provide a Safe and Well-Organised Event: The organisers ensured that the event was safe, well-coordinated, and professionally managed, focusing on the participants' experience. Key Achievements Successful Youth Engagement: The children’s competition on January 4th was a huge success, introducing young athletes to open water swimming and triathlon challenges. It was a historic moment for Maharashtra, the first open water event for children under 12 years old. High Participation from Across India: Athletes from Maharashtra and India participated, creating a highly competitive atmosphere and promoting a more significant interest in endurance sports.
